BSA Sports soccer tours

Unlike other companies in Brazil that offer soccer tours, our athletic director is an American and knowledgeable of both the American, international and Brazilian systems.

Mike graduated physical education teacher in California in 1982, completing his MA in 1990. He was an athlete and soccer coach in the United States and Brazil.

Throughout this experience, he learned exactly what coaches want and Americans are seeking. With this knowledge he has created an optimal program filled with soccer, adventure, health and tourism perfect for teams or individuals wanting to experience soccer at a higher level.

The time you spend with BSA Sports, will be a life altering experience, bringing team cohesion and experience onto the soccer field.

I have known Mike Mitchell for over 30 years as a teammate and a friend.  Mike’s love and passion for the game of soccer enables him to be a great influence on any football project he gets involved in.  I am sure his new endeavor will be very successful.

Cliff McCrath
Former soccer coach of Seattle Pacific University
Five times champion of NCAA Division II (597 victories in 49 seasons).

I´ve been coaching US university teams since 1958 and, throughout all these years I´ve met only a handful of people so dedicated and committed to sport as Michael Mitchell. I have firsthand knowledge of Mike both on the field when he played against me for the California State University at  Chico Men`s Soccer Team and when he worked for me at Northwest Soccer Camp, Seattle WA.
Mike has 16 years of experience in Brazil and many connections in United States. If you are looking for a Brazilian Soccer Adventure, I assure you, Mike is the one who can really help you.

Lou Sagastume
Former technical director of Air Force Falcons (for 28 years before retiring in 2007)

This is a letter of reference for Mike Mitchell, an American, who presently resides in Brazil and has made Brazil his second place of residence.  I have known Mike since his playing days of soccer at Chico State University where he played during his college years. I did not have the pleasure of coaching him but paid attention to his ability because I coached his rival school, San Francisco State University.

Mike has always loved the game and has made a career out of it. As a coach at the University of Southern Colorado he competed against my team while I was coaching at the Air Force Academy and I witnessed his positive work ethic and the motivation he brought to Southern Colorado.  It went from being a very poor program to an up and coming recognizable program.

His endeavors and ideas in Brazil continue to progress, his work in Africa is commendable and his continuous effort to build individuals for the better through soccer is admirable. I support his new ideas and I am certain that his work ethic and focus will bring these ideas to fruition.

My name is Yves Happi I am from Cameroon and I was enrolled at the University of Southern Colorado (USC) between 1992 and 1996.

I was part of the USC Soccer team that was coached by Mike Mitchel and Teddy Glover as the Assistant coach.

I had the privilege to be coached by Teddy who really understood how to facilitate my integration on the team knowing hat how far I was coming from with the language barrier and the cultural aspect of the life.

He tremendously help me improving myself as a player and also as person so I would like to recognize that and thank him again for all he brought to me.

Of course Mike Mitchel was the coach that made that possible by believing in me, without him I am not sure that I would have been able to accomplish what I have done today because he gave me an opportunity to meet a great host family ( Mr. & Mrs. Smith ) and helped me getting through good standard academics in addition to SOCCER.

I hold a BS in Industrial Engineering and a MS in Management and now I am working as a Marketing Manager in Orange Cameron , a Telecom Company. Throughout my years in the States I obtained a level D coaching FIFA coaching license and a State referee license from the USSFF and I am also now member of the Cameroon Football Federation ( FECAFOOT ) on the beach Soccer commission

Thank you very much Mike and Teddy !
